Cleveland Pride announce
new home venue.
The Cleveland Pride is very
proud to announce that team ownership has struck a deal
and partnership with Game Day Sports Center in Oberlin,
Ohio to become the team’s new home venue for all
home games. Game Day Sports
Center is a state of the art facility, premier soccer
facility just outside of the city of Cleveland, Ohio.
The facility offers wide range of sports and recreational
activities. Game Day offers soccer, basketball, volleyball,
baseball, futsal, flag football, and flag football.
Cleveland Pride owner George Basenbeck
was ecstatic about the deal and the move. “The
Cleveland Pride is very excited to be moving to Game
Day Sports Center. The facility is a state of the art
facility that will be great for our fans to watch our
team the remainder of the 2007-2008 season and for years
to come. General Manager Mike Cracus and his staff at
Game Day have been greatly accommodating in this venture.
I know I speak for all the players and coaches that
the Cleveland Pride and its fans are looking very forward
to opening the facility this weekend versus FC Indiana.”
The Cleveland Pride will play its first
home game at Game Day Sports Center this weekend when
they play host to Great Lakes divisional rival FC Indiana
this Sunday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
